So last week was crazy and I didn't get anything done; I've also had some difficulty finding the uninterrupted time I need to draw. Like, I'm able to write for a few minutes here, a few minutes there, but to draw well (or at least, well enough to satisfy myself) I need at least a couple hours to be able to settle down into my groove.
After that super-busy week, an unexpected shit-storm descended upon me this past weekend: my mom's dog is dying, my grandpa took his fourth bad fall and is dying, my sister CJ's boyfriend is in the hospital and might be dying, and a friend got in a high-speed wreck and could have died. This is all on top of a time of year that is normally very busy to begin with, as well as my mom starting a new job and me being the closest one to help make ends meet while she settles into her new schedule. So I have not caught up, and do not expect to do so in any reasonable timeframe. In light of all that, I'm calling a hiatus, and I'll return the first weekend in June. Cheers!
